Anyone having a really hard time getting their KO2's to balance? All 4 I just had mounted are calling for between 10-15 oz of weight.

a pound of wheel weight?

the ****?

Have you looked into those balls that go in the tire to balance it? Balance beads I think.

You aren't alone. My new truck had two tires that needed to be replaced because they couldn't be balanced. On average, two of my tires require re-balancing when I get them rotated every 5K miles.

Yeah I tired airsoft BBs and that didnt work very well at all. It was better than weights but if you were going around a higher speed corner say 55-60 it would come out of balance which was super annoying.

BFG 37s are known to have a balance problem. Not only that, but when you get them balanced, they will go out of balance after a few hundred miles. One of the problems is that it is a large tire on a 17" rim. They are a great off road tire, but not a great high speed tire. The 35s are better.

Never had any problem balancing mine. A few ounces per tire and 20 thousand miles with regular rotation, no re-balancing.

My tire guy has sent some KO2's & 1's back to the supplier over the years because they needed to much weight. Don't except them. Also don't waste your time with Snake Oil type tire balance products ( powder, beads & sand) crap IMO. I tired that shit on an old H1 with 37's I have. Nothing beats a well built tire, a good rim & a competent tire guy with a proper tire balancer.

Yeah BFG agreed to take these back but only if I went with another BFG product which means Im pretty limited. The 37 inch KM3's come out next month. Im just tired of jacking with these things. Honestly just thinking about going back to 35s.
