this may be a stupid question, but i have removed the front sway bar in the past on my tacoma truck to make the truck not tilt so easy if one wheel would drive over a rock or whatever. and since i had full icon suspension installed on it, the cornering was actually still really good on it. so i was curious if people have tried to do it on this truck or if its designed differently that it wont make a difference on the truck tilting when one side of the truck wheel is sitting higher than the other. it made for better off roading as well on the taco. so i was just curious
anyone remove the front sway bar?

do yall leave it disconnected all the time or just for off roading? Thought about doing it but wasn't sure of any issues that might come up if I left it disconnected for long duration.

I removed the whole sway bar completely. I guess you could leave it disconnected if you want. I knew I wasn’t going to connect it again so it served no purpose sitting there on mine
Well, hows it drive?

I took mine off on my gen 1 and I thought it was a lot more fun to drive. More body roll feels like a real race truck. Gets sketchy weaving on the highway which led me to put it back on after being off for three months when I started driving long distance again

My Jeep has electric disconnects that I use out of habit, but frankly that is something I do not feel I need to do in normal off-road driving, more of a rock-crawling thing IMO.
I'd suggest leaving them connected for street use, emergency lane change maneuvers could be sketchy.

Honestly I can’t even tell the difference when on the road. Off road is where I can tell, way nicer over bumps and jumps as it’s allowing the suspension to do what it was made for and have full use of the travel when needed

I would say the same. Feels way better over bumps and rough stuff at lower speed but higher speed turns it sways and pulls a lot
