I received my dash mount and bed panels from BuiltRight today and installed both in less than an hour. That time includes looking for my cordless drill and bits. Now I need to find out how to maximize use of the panels (translation, buy a bunch of brackets and mounts). The plan for the dash mount is to mount the ICOM ID-5100 faceplate and then see what else fits there without looking to busy.

Great products, fit and finish is spot on, install was a breeze.

Was thinking the same thing!

Install was very easy, took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Here are some pictures with and without my mob armor mobnetic mount.

You know you could have just mounted that on the dash right?

yes i could have, however it was a little rounder than i would have liked to place the magnet that the mob armour came with. Also going to mount a tablet with a different type of mount in the future.

This totally reminds me of the Jeep dash mount for the M1919A4.

I could make this work with a traverse mechanism and a block so I don’t inadvertently stitch the hood.

Will it hold 48 pounds securely?

Still pretty handy if I can’t ...
