I’m interested in the black tips on the Corsa exhaust, but I’m concerned about how it will react with road salt during the winter. Is there a recommended product that I could spray on the tips that wouldn’t discolor them and prevent contamination and discoloration from salt?

Thanks!

Regular cleaning and wax are your best bets. Have heard of some people spraying and wiping with products like Liquid Wrench to coat them. No personal experience. Glad to be in a no salt only sand location...and to not give a rats ass about my exhaust tips.

Being behind the rear wheels your tips will get the "extra attention" of all kind of shit: salt, rocks, debris.... I have chrome tips and I may be paid attention to them once or twice in 1.5 year. I used chrome polish both times, but after all said and done its a truck not a Porsche....

Your cab and fenders will rust through long before you have any troubles with corsa exhaust. The system on my last truck lasted 13 years before the muffler needed to be replaced.

How does this answer discoloration on the tip? It doesn’t.
