I am getting the 801a package and it does not include:

Remote door opener? Do I have to use a key to get in?

Garage Door Opener? Can I add it later? Just buy the unit?

Not sure on the tailgate opening? Do I get it or not?

I know I get no FOB, so what else is on the FOB that I might miss?

Does the Apple carplay work across Sync 3? I just want to put up my own maps on the 8 inch display.

Is there a way to track my build? I do not have the VIN yet.

You will be able to unlock the truck with the key remote as it has a remote lock/unlock. You just won’t have keyless entry that lets you lock/unlock the truck by just touching the door handle.

I do not think the 801 package has remote tailgate release. You just use your key to lock the tailgate and have a handle to release the tail gate.

Apple car play should work with your Sync system.

You really can’t track your order till you get a VIN. Your dealer can provide you with the VIN once one has been assigned.

One thing though, but if you do not have a VIN yet getting it delivered late Feb may be a little optimistic. I would expect it maybe mid March, and if it comes earlier than that consider it a bonus.

Thanks

No VIN, so no tracking, I guess 2 month to 3 months to get one built is the answer? Dealer also does not know as he only gets limited (4 to 8) Raptor orders per year.

It sounds like you are unsure that your dealer has an allotment? If your dealer does not have an allocation then your order was not submitted to the order bank.

Thanks

Just for reference I ordered my truck mid October. Had my vin about 3 weeks later and my build date is January 16. Expected delivery is February 6-12. Leadfoot, supercrew, 802a, raptor tech, orange interior, moon roof.

Pretty sure he has at least one as I watched him bring up a order screen to input my truck.

When i have a vin, i will be sure.
