that is a really clean setup. you mounted them just above the tow hooks? I'm assuming from the picture you did not buy a flush mount kit. I was looking for the diffused pattern with those. any comment on the light output? would it be good enough to light up a camping area behind the truck?

On top of the trailer hitch, looking on the back side there is a half cutout on both sides of the factory hitch. Drilled small holes then painted and installed. Hooked mine up to reverse lights off the round trailer plug.

They are Rigid surface mounts

Was happy with the cleaner look vs the alternatives Ive seen.

Very clean setup. I ordered a set of rigid flush mount diffused. I’m pretty sure the only difference between those and the regular option is the addition of the flush mount plate.
I think I like the look of your setup the best, and I will try to do the same thing. I might get the S2’s a little later down the line, but I’m sure I will be happy with the rigids for now.

I went with rigid ignite, I wasnt looking for something to stand out, just to give more light backing up. These are much smaller than the baja ones so It was much easier to mount them tucked away and not sticking out where most people mount them

I have the diffused, you have choices on rigid light patterns

I like the orange decals on your rear trunklid. Where did you get them?

Any pics of this installed? I want to get some backup lights, but I want something flush mount. I haven’t seen any on the stock bumper so far.

I actually did a side by side comparison between the Rigid Dually D2s and the Baja Designs Squadron Pros. I had the Dually D2s on my truck for about a year and upgraded to the Baja Designs recently (ordered them almost a year ago right after the Duallys but never installed them till now).

The Dually D2s I have are supposed to be their wide pattern but the Baja Work/Scene threw light wider and lit up the room.

Here is a photo comparison I did. The camera had a locked in exposure and focus setting so both photos are identical. The Rigid was whiter and had a spot pattern for some reason while the Rigid was a true flood light, just flooded the space with equal light. You can barely see the hot spot down range.

The Rigids are slightly bigger and did fit in my bumper then the Baja though. most bumpers are made for Rigid and Bajas are slightly smaller so that left them sitting back a tiny bit and a tiny gap around the outter edge. not a deal breaker for me though
