Anyone used the Forged offroad Raptor shock exchange program?
Ford Raptor Fox Shock Exchange Program – Forged Offroad – We Rebuild Shocks

Seems legit, looking into the exchange program where they send you a set of 4 rebuilt Raptor Fox shocks and you send them back your worn-out ones to get your deposit back.

Any comments on people who have used this company/ program before would be appreciated. thanks.

I haven't been around here long, so my opinion doesn't carry much weight, but they are completely legit. You'll probably have to get on a waiting list, they seem to stay pretty busy, so be ready for that.

As far as the quality of the rebuild, I just finished a 10 day, 5000 mile trip that included over 800 miles offroad across the state of Nevada, and they held up perfectly.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Forged guys a couple of weeks after getting my shocks swapped out (by chance, they were on the same trip across Nevada), and you couldn't ask for a nicer group of guys.

The Forged guys do a great job with their rebuilds and Matt and Paul are two real good dudes.

Like Texas Terrain said there will most likely be a bit of a waiting period. These guys get a ton a exchange requests which is great.

Another place that does an exchange is GJ Motorsports. They are out of the Midwest so depending where you're located it might save on shipping. These guys rebuilt my shocks and they've been performing flawlessly.

Not saying one is better than the other, just letting you know Forged is legit and there is another option in GJ Motorsports.

Forged also offers great options on top of just rebuilding the shocks. I had the shocks tuned, installed flutter stacks, Viton seals, spherical bearings for the front, and the improved lower bolts installed on my last rebuild. I am blown away with how the truck handles now and I cant believe how much of a difference the mods made.

I would not recommend the spherical bearing swap to anyone for a number of reasons!!!!

* Safety - There are no retaining clips installed to hold the bearing in place, it is possible that the bearing will move in the bottom of the shock over time and could slip out completely in the right conditions damaging the shock and the LCA in the process, possible the front drive shaft or tie rod depending on how it moves.

* It will have a negative effect on on road manners, the ride will be harsher over small bumps such as expansion joints and pot holes.

Surely they have it held in place with snap rings or something?
