I got this nice front bumper sensor from Proxel (Proxel - Electromagnetic Parking Sensor - NO holes on the bumper!), the install is vert straight forward, never have to drill any holes. But I came to the step where I need a 12V power source only in (D), so the sensor device would switch off while the car is in any other shifter position, where do you think I can get that power from? is there any wire in the truck that would give me 12V power while the gear in (D)??

Wouldn't it be infinitely more easy to just used a switched 12v source? So when truck is on, the sensor is energized?

Look into AL Priority systems also. Then you have parking sensor AND laser / radar jamming

As per their instructions, the controller box needs to be reset after each approach.

Did you ever get the sensors installed? And if so where did you stick the sensor and where did you get the power source from? Thank you in advance for any info you might provide.

I was surprised that these are not coming with stock front parking sensors. I've got it dialed in getting into my tiny ass garage, but not going to help with other parking times. Front cameras are awkward.
