Ya. I just bought the 2017 Raptor and put the methods on. Going off roading this weekend and don't want to rip my fenders off. The methods stick out a little bit (about 1.5"), so I hope there are no issues.

So you jump and get those wheels deep under the fender with no issues at all?

I have a 2011 so don't know about the new ones. Guess you'll find out if it rubs on compression pretty quick.

Hey guys - Quick question to piggyback off this thread.

I'm about to order some method NV's for my 13 (Mid perch) raptor.

I want them to basically mimic the stock rims (if they're a LITTLE wider, I don't mind).

So what option do I pick? The website has 8 different options in the 17's

NV | Matte Black Off-road Wheel | Method Race Wheels

I think there is only one option for 17X8.5 with bolt pattern 6x135.

IMO, you should order them though @CUSTOMWHEELS4U or another vendor on here instead of ordering directly from Method. They will be able to get you properly set up.

Hi there,
I know its an old thread, but didn't want to start a new one for the same inquiry. been in a lot of threads regarding wheels and offsets, and I am still confused.

I am looking to replace the OEM wheel on my 2013 with new ones,
the ones I am looking at are 17x9 with 0 offset from Black Rhino, from what I searched this would make the tires stick 40mm more to the outside.
I assume it would cause rubbing, however, I wanted to make sure. so the question is: would it cause any rubbing?

If you are at factory height, plan for it to rub a bit. If you are on mid perch, it still might rub while off-roading. I would recommend 8.5" with 6 offset or 9" with 12 offset for a more flush look without rubbing.

I am running methods with factory size mickey Thompson’s and I rub, both at full compression and while turning and articulating.

There are a few things to consider when considering how bad you will rub. I am running about 5 degrees of positive caster, if I recall correctly, and that pushes the top of the knuckle back which results in more rubbing. Another thing to consider is that how much of your travel are you using. Mid perch might be enough if you aren’t using much of you travel, but if you go full compression it doesn’t matter what perch/coil adjustment you are on. I have a few light cracks in my fenders up by the A pillars and am missing most of my push pins that hold the fender flare on.

Note that I have been for compression more than once......

I’m riding out 35’s and stock fenders until I decide what front end setup/track width I want to go with so I am not buying fenders more than once.
