Awesome thanks. Will be ordering em with due time. Not sure if I should get new headlights or redo mine. Quick question, what did you use to mount the halo/strips? Don't think I read that.

I took off the adhesive strip attached to the light and applied a clear epoxy to the back and then applied a generous amount in a couple spots over the whole light for added support.

How well do those aftermarket lights come apart in the oven?

Did some factory lights this weekend, those were a total pain in the ass to get them to separate

Factory headlights are an absolute nightmare to open. Id order stock aftermarket replacements for 100 bucks off eBay before i ever tried to open factory ones again

I've opened OEM headlights from my previous vehicle and agree it was a pain. I've got the same headlights op has and already opened them up but to paint them black since they were originally chrome. Going to hold off on opening them up again.

Unfortunately I don't get to write up a detailed post like this a lot so if you're interested in my builds, please feel free to follow me on Instagram.

Just wanted to provide an update on the build.
They have taken a beating over the years and have very little issues with them. (Replaced a ballast)
The lenses have started to degrade and delaminate. Will post a picture later.
I have since swapped the internals to a new set of headlights for a customer and he is very happy with them.
I am currently working on a new set with some custom paint this time.
Maybe Ill write another post showcasing them......
