[QUOTE="ArcticRaptor, post: 1278022, member: 27043"] In April I had the Whipple Stage 1 kit installed at my dealership. I had an odd shift between 3-4 and 4-5 before the install, and my hope was that the new tune would fix the problem. Unfortunately it only seemed to exaggerate the problem as the Whipple tune does not update the TCM, only the PCM. I e-mailed them on Wednesday afternoon, and this was a portion of the response I received within 2 hours: "we are now working on updates the can flash ecm and tcm as a set so we can update to the most current stock transmission software I currently have to get the engineer to make each one on a case by case basis" Friday morning, I had the new tune in my inbox, and was able to download it into the truck. I had some operator errors on my end as I didn't delete the old tune before installing the new one on the SD card. I made a file on my computer to save all of the tunes as suggested by Whipple. The service guys at Whipple walked me through the process, and the files were updated with no codes or issues. I took the truck for a short drive (after a quick wash) and the harsh shifts are gone! What a relief. I was getting frustrated with the shifting on the truck to a point that I was considering selling it. When I got back, I had an e-mail from Whipple asking if I was able to get the tune to work. All of my other questions were answered immediately as well. Great customer service! I would definitely suggest this kit to anyone wanting to upgrade the performance of their V-6, and to anybody that has the Whipple kit and the odd shifting going on, get in touch with them to request an updated tune with the latest TCM updates.
