I know there's a procedure where you turn the ignition on without starting and then you insert/remove the male seat belt part in/out 3 times, wait, then one more time... its supposed to turn the seat belt chime off. Too much effort! All I want is another spare seat belt, male part, that I can stick into the buckle when I don't want to wear my seat belt (like when riding on my rural property at slow speeds... ) Here's a ford site: Buy 2011 Ford F-150 Parts | FordParts.com But with the exploded view... I can't tell which part to order. I don't even know the proper term to look for... Seat belt: Clip, Male, Insert, Buckle? What's that part called? There's also a company I found called Chimex or something that sells just the male inserts/plugs to dummy the chime off. But they don't make one for the F150. Is there a plug under the seat that I can disconnect somewhere? ----------- I couldn't get the beltminder to disable on my truck for some reason... and if you do follow the directions (its around page 188 in the owner's manual), is this a permanent deactivation until you reactivate it, or do you have to do this each time you start the truck up?>
