[QUOTE="JimIII@JDM, post: 1046324, member: 736"] Right now we are working on a 2013 Roush Raptor that had an oil pump gear failure and caused the engine to lock up. After doing a brake-stand burn out the customer said the vehicle shut off, he tried to restart it and it shut off again, on the third try it wouldn't turn over at all. The bearings had seized and the motor was completely locked due to loss of oil pressure after his factory oil pump gears failed. The gears can break or shatter under harsh vibration or shock caused from tire spin, wheel hop, or just simply too much power/torque.
