I recently set side some time to get this old :poop: caught up on maintenance, here's what got done. 9/30/2023 - 166,500 ⁃ R&R Engine Oil and Filter ⁃ R&R Engine Air Filter ⁃ R&R Rear Differential Fluid ⁃ Power Steering Flush ⁃ Brake Fluid Flush ⁃ Tire Rotation ⁃ Extend ELocker Harness ⁃ Rebuild & Revalve Fox 3.0 Factory DSC Gen2 Raptor Front Coilovers ⁃ Lube & Torque Front Suspension, Uniballs, Heims, Balljoints ⁃ Lube & Torque Rear Suspension Deaver Polyurethane Bushings I didn't get any pictures of the coilover rebuild process since I was trying to get everything done with enough time left over to start get the suspension settings dialed in but the process to rebuild these factory race series is very very similar to the oem shock rebuild process. In the time ive been running these fronts I've always wanted a little more rebound dampening to help the front stay more planted so I took this opportunity to add some in. I also decided to chop off the limit strap tabs and install them 90* from their original position in order to prevent the strap from interfering with the brake lines while the rear end is compressed. My previous tab locations were honestly crap and I would not recommend anyone configure them that way. Lastly I was able to measure out the total suspension numbers for front and rear and spent a few hours out in the desert getting the shock settings close. I need to find some larger more consistent whoops sections in order to move any further with tuning but for now its great. Shock Settings: ⁃ Front Low Speed: 5 Clicks ⁃ Front High Speed: 5 Clicks ⁃ Rear Long Rebound: 7 Clicks ⁃ Rear Long Rebound (Street): 4 Clicks ⁃ Rear Short Rebound: 9 Clicks ⁃ Rear Long Compression: 7 Clicks ⁃ Rear Short Compression: 9 Clicks ⁃ Front from full open/ Rear from full closed Strapped Suspension Travel: ⁃ Front: 14” ⁃ Rear: 17” IMG_2362 by TJ Higa, on Flickr IMG_2361 by TJ Higa, on Flickr IMG_2360 by TJ Higa, on Flickr IMG_2359 by TJ Higa, on Flickr IMG_2358 by TJ Higa, on Flickr
