PROJECT X: First thing I did upon returning home was get my truck over to DFW frame shop to get it checked out. Because of the left rear sag (turns out due to blown shock & bent leaf), they thought there might be some frame damage, but they did not want to touch it until after new frame kit and any other rear mods were installed. Rock & Roll Offroad These guys are nothing short of pure awesomeness. Jared immediately dubbed me "Project X" and they got busy heading me down the right path. 1) The original plan was an RPG Stage 3 kit / National leafs to eliminate all the wheel hop issues at speed. Went with +1 Standards so that later I could raise the front as high as I wanted. At my request, Jarret at RPG had a slight extra curve put in the left leaf to offset the extra weight on that side of my 200 lbs + a full tank of gas. 2) During the install, the R&R guys noticed that the left rear shock was blown (note the dirt accumulation where it leaked) They just happened to have set of Fox 3.0's and after talking to Panda (who was there helping out), I became convinced I should just spend the $$ to go that route instead of rebuilding the stocker. So now I am the proud owner of these! 3) Hanging out at R&R all day gave me plenty of time to admire Panda's truck. (seems being around mods & modded-up Raptors is dangerous to the pocketbook). I managed to get Methods before the closed the shop doors.
