[QUOTE="jpwrx2002, post: 1227182, member: 23611"] After a 12 hour day and fixing/ fighting through some issues the gen 2 shocks are in the front. Full Disclosure: at full length they will hit the spring. My first post said it would not, that was before I figured out the previous owner had installed the factory shims wrong on the drivers side which in turn caused the UCA not to hit the spring, but caused the spring to hit the shock body. With that all sorted they do hit at full length. First impressions driving on road, but roads in Atlanta, so technically probably as bad as most gravel roads are. They are much more compliant then the Gen 1 shocks set at the bottom perch. (I never went mid perch) I ended up using the new factory top hats that were supplied with the Gen 2 shocks and knocking the studs out of the Gen 1 hats and swapping them over for the longer length. Other than that its a fairly straight forward install if you don't run into any issues. I was able to do it myself with spring compressors, jack, jack stands, a few sockets and a ratchet strap setup. Its time consuming but so far worth it. Also the front and rear are just about even now. front is 42" to the bottom of the fender and the rear is 42.5" to the bottom of the fender. In the future I will more than likely run this setup with a limiting strap.
