Bottle Jack Experiment I like the compact size of the Pro Eagle that R1jamn found, but I wish they were cheaper and 3 ton. I might get this or a similar one in the future when my "mod" fund gets replenished. Currently I purchased an ARB twin compressor and Viair 2.5 gallon air tank to be installed soon. The http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/board-air-compressor-37470/ thread was very helpful with all the suggestions. With the on-board air, I figured it would be great to use a jack with an air-assist. This combined with a sale at HF lead me to buy their 12-ton bottle jack. The thing I worry about with this HF jack is the size of the ram head. It is only 1.5" and the proper way to lift the rear tires is by the axle. This lead me to the Swag Bottle Jack Axle Cradle which is a really heavy duty piece of metal. It does fit perfectly on the axle. Their suggestion is to just weld it to bottle jack. If I remember correctly the front lifting point is flat, so this would not work in the front, (or perhaps it would). However, this company has some nice products that will work for a bottle jack: https://safejacks.com/, but they are expensive and I already have the Swag Cradle. So my thinking is to weld a short piece of 1.5" pipe to the Swag Cradle and a perhaps another pipe to a piece of flat metal like the https://safejacks.com/ products. What do you guys think?
