Pedal Commander, I have had my Chipwerke installed for going on 2 weeks. I experience intermittent behavior problems during medium to hard acceleration. Its not all the time but its definitely some of the time and I can find no reason for when it picks the time to do the below different things. My settings are, 2018, 2-1 (dropped to 1-1 for 3-5 days after suggestion from Matthew Ringgold. There was no different). 93 octane fuel. 65-75 degrees F. 1. Bogs on Launch intermittently. I have video (which i can send you if you'd like) that shows a 0 mph launch. The RPM at idle drops 500 rpm immediately. There's no loss of traction because the rpm hadn't even started to climb. During the drop in rpm the boost guage begins climbing which is odd to say the least. After the drop the truck runs normally. I have confirmed this happening with TC and Stability control completely off. So it was not the truck being a nanny on wheel spin. 2. Strange feeling shifts. I don't know how else to explain it. 3. Momentary drops in power at full throttle. Sometimes its just one sometimes its a stutter of multiple. This can happen at low speed or even freeway speeds in 2H, 4H, and with TC or Stability Control alltogether on or off. They are varying in length but short. Just annoying. you can tell something has decided to cut power. 4. The most concerning of the symptoms is hearing/feeling the engine bucking usually in tandem with #3 above. When this happens it feels like the engine is torquing. Its not significant and doesn't feel like its dangerous, but you can feel what I believe to be the engine physically gaining and losing torque to the point that its moving on mounts. This seems to have faded to some extent. I don't really remember feeling it lately so maybe this was part of the learning. To summarize, when its working without any of the above symptoms it really does provide power. I consistently get about .3+ lower 0-60 tested with a very simple iphone app so YMMV. But I feel like there's extra power across the curve and most importantly lower in teh rpm range when it felt like it was short on power stock (due to turbo lag.) I'm happy to discuss more, provide video, have someone ride along (I'm in Houston) or even take it to a race shop to have them get some information off of it, if you'll cover the cost. Turk
