Can I remove Method double standard bead lock bolts and still use the wheel

I know this is probably a dumb question as Im pretty sure the ring is not functional, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I want to powder coat the bolts but not hurt anything by running the tires/wheels with the bolts out.

The bolts are just for show. 13mm socket and they are only about 1/4" long
