[QUOTE="Al Bastaki, post: 273371, member: 7825"] hey Rapt I really hope you sort this in two weeks, cause i'm getting my perch mod finally, its been the 6th visit today and they said they'll do it, the only warranty that'll be "affected" is on the shocks, the UCA's.. but not my front diff or axles. the warranty doesn't drop, it just gets affected. oh, and the roush catback/ or any other catback for that matter, even though they'll install it in dubai at the dealership, the warranty will immediately drop on the engine and the gearbox. and i'm slowly getting the abu dhabi dealer to get on par with the policy on mods with dubai. they are still unsure on the rear frame mod, and doubt theyll be able to fix it (rpg stage 2-4+). but will get back on that... warranty wise... that includes springs as well. on the popo side of things, if its dealer fitted, and as long as you keep your paperwork with you... you are good. And one more thing. you and I since we are going/gone the rpg way, we need a letter from RPG, that states that they've done excessive testing and that it meets international standards... and blablabla... ill keep you posted. that is.. in case the car doesn't get registered in 3 years. which isn't a big issue at the moment. the airbag issue... the H3 hummer boys had to pay.... the ones who screamed and shouted... did get away with it. I don't know what the fj boys do,but they somehow have a trick to deactivate the airbags. i honestly, dont see the point of airbags, the belt is the biggest savior - and ive been rolled over twice, once off a mountain edge and flew straight off and into the valley .. i was in a lazycow (aka landcruiser) .. the airbags didnt deploy.. lol.. yet the car was completely totaled. and the second time was in a trophy truck nissan patrol i had... that again got totaled.. and the airbag didnt deploy. oh, and the only difference between an american specd raptor and ours ... is that we have a large radiator fitted on our transmission. add to that the warranty.. and the alignment... so not worth the extra g's we paid. :/ i wish i had bought one from roush or outlaw and tested at glamis while i had the chance.. drove the thousand miles... did all the mods.. and came back home with an awesome rig. ..shoots himself in the foot.
