Hello Y'all I have a G2 Rap and have been experiencing some major transmission issues since 1800 Miles. Hopefully this post can help out others if you start having these issues and for gosh sake you dont have them. At 1800 miles driving on a the free way going on a long trip (3hours into my drive). The transmission temp spiked to 240dgf. I pull over let it cooled and continued to the dealer. But then a grinding noise presented itself going to the dealer. They replaced transmission cooler and torque converter. After that my transmission overheated again on another trip about 2 hours into the drive and started slipping gears. I been to the dealer 5 times after the second vist and they cant replicate the issue at all because they wont test drive a vehicle over 50miles... Well 35 miles on an ambient air temperature transmission gets it to normal operating temp. So that gives 15 miles of normal driving conditions. I explained to multiple dealers that these issues occurred at 100+ miles of driving Both dealers told me to bring it back when it fully breaks. I had it towed it twice because half the transmission fluid came out the vent when it gets to 245 255. They said that they can't find any issues, added more fluid and sorta cleaned the bottom of the truck. My next step is to contact the BBB and see what they can do. I called ford customer service and they told me to take it to another dealer. I feel like this is just going to take me down the same path i went through with the first two dealers. I'll keep y'all update.
