Sorry for the delayed response, I have them hooked to the blinkers only. I wanted to have them on anytime the parking lights were on but couldn't find a good way to run the wire out of the mirror up to the front end. P.s. Fred I love the vinyl wrap on your truck, looks awesome

Here's how they look lit. I wired them into the blinker that is installed in the mirror. Just 2 wires to tap into.

I've seen 3 in the last few days in Lacey, Wa. A black, blue, and white one.

I didn't really look lose enough to see if they could be taken apart, looked to be sealed, perhaps they could be heated like the headlights to separate.

Yes, you have to take the complete mirror assembly apart, the mirror itsel is the hardest part, once that's off, it's about a 5 minute job.

That's where I tapped into, the blinker that's already in the mirror.

The trick was getting the mirror off. Once that was done I used 18 gauge wire splices to splice into the power and ground of the blinker that is already in the mirror. Product fit as advertised. I wanted to tap them into the running lights so that they were on anytime the parking lights were on...

I got them from Recons website on sale. Install took about 30 minutes after figuring out how to take the mirror off. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow

Did mine last week with the Recon amber LED kit. Tapped into the blinker that's already installed in the mirror. They are smoked lenses so they are black until you turn the blinker on, great mod, looks a lot better.
