Only thing to do is wait and hope that 2022 changes up the option list. Or buy something else of course.
Shame, the 37 option is one of those things that makes you not want a 35 truck anymore. If the didn't even offer it in the first place you'd never miss it.
5 pages in, but for what it's worth:
The compression and timing is the same on the 4.6 in both the Tundra and the GX. The "premium" fuel requirement in the Lexus is a marketing decision. The Tundra is actually rated for more power on regular than the GX is on premium.
Same thing on Land...
IMO if you like the 2020, hard for me to buy saying you don't like the 21. It's virtually the same truck with some upgrades, like a gen 2.5. And while I really like the Gen 2, it's hardly some gorgeous truck.
I don't know if it will be $10k. Even "less than $6k" would probably be $5,995. No matter, it's a ton of money to pay for slightly bigger tires.
Ford didn't even need to offer 37s. IMO since they cancelled the SCAB and the previous 800A package that almost nobody bought, they are now using...
Two different frames is really a slap in the face to guys who don't tick the 37 box.
And an even bigger slap to the guy who buys a 35 off the lot thinking he can put his own 37s on later.
Can afford it but don't want to.
They're going to milk it. Way more than most people think.
Plus as others said the allocation game will likely mean it's a fake product, sort of like Ford GT. Not an actual product you can walk in and buy, even if you try pretty hard. Hope I'm wrong.
Seriously now is the time to make it known before the order guides hit.
