UPDATE: I went the USB route and it loaded Sync 3 with no issues. So much for the convenience of Wi-Fi........... I did the download from the ford.owner site.

I just went back and read a good bit of this thread from the start so is the 3.0 an official Ford release or no? If it is not no way I am loading it. My truck says it last checked for an update this morning and didnt pull anything in. I am on 2.2. It is a 2017.

I have tried a few times to update to 3.0 over wi-fi and the best i can get is about 75% on the status bar and it just sits there. I let it sit almost an hour and it never moved. Wi-fi signal was bouncing between 3 and 4 bars. Any suggestions or just keep trying?

Two times now I have gotten a "Check 4x4 Differential" warning at start up with a yellow wrench icon. Both times I turned the truck off, let it sit and on the next start up it went away. Drives fine, etc. I have 4600 miles on it. Pavement queen, no off road, never been in 4wd. Manual just...

Has anyone seen the hood insert offered in body color? I have seen the CF ones and not interested in that.

Truck has 4K miles. No mods. All road miles, sane driving habits. Its a pavement queen.

UPDATE: I replaced my OEM wipers with Bosch ICONS. Worked good for about 5 minutes then the problem returned. Same issue, drivers side. Passenger side is ok. The window was clay bar, washed, cleaned with window cleaner then Adams H20 Guard. New wiper was cleaned with rubbing achol. etc...

If you will read my post and pay attention i stated it is increasing which caused me to ask the question. Your response is exactly the type I didnt want.

Any issues with polarized glasses? The responses are interesting. If I had to boil it down I would say it is mostly about the tint type you select. Ceramic seems to be the route to go to lessen the chance of banding with polarized glasses.

Not sure if I posted this in the right section (Int or Ext) but anyway..... Has anyone tinted their front windshield? Not for a color change, just clear tint for UV protection? If so, any issues with polarized sunglasses.....distortion or otherwise? Also, is it effective in heat reduction?
