I took mine off and reinstalled it later without jacking the truck. Just took the ends off and then the bar. It wasn't tough. Just know that you need two wrenches for the ends that hook to the LCA. The stud spins too.

Impact wrench with a little PBlaster works great. No spin unless you damaged the threads.

took mine off yesterday, night and day difference in the desert. Is a little softer on the street in the front end, but nothing crazy like. you can diffidently feel the front end doing was it is supposed to be doing, being independent. Im leaving if off, the only way I would put it back on is if i am going to pull a trailer with weight on it. :iranmaybe:

I have had mine disconnected for years now. Its so much better and much more predictable off road. Only reconnect when im pulling a heavy trailer or high speed on road performance driving (twisty stuff).

Would there be a benefit of running a sway bar in the rear? not sure since its a leaf spring set up. i know there is with a linked truck.

Now i want to find a way to make it work with out cutting the bed. I've been think ing about for a while now just was't sure how beneficial it would be hopefully some more will weight in on this.
