Question for 2012 owners

Is your spare tire all blacked out like the ones on the 2010's and 2011's or are the the same as the non-spares?

FYI bro, the spare is mounted with the wheel face towards the bed, so someone will actually need to lower theirs in order to see.

Look at the LA auto show silver raptor pics, it shows a full size tire with the same machined rim as the other 4.

From an inventory standpoint, that makes a lot more sense than 2010/2011 with the black spare.

I wouldn't take what the truck at the auto show had as the gospel though. Wasn't that the one where the cab lifted off the frame? Wouldn't surprise me at all if they prettied some things up on that undercarriage.

I highly doubt its going to come with a fancy rim.

I wouldn't doubt it. The 2010-2011's come with a fancy rim, just the center is painted black instead of gray. Maybe for the 2012's they'll paint between the spokes gray instead of black LOL

They will paint the backside and leave the face unpainted..

I'm guessing guys are too lazy to check for me
