Based on the images, your rear suspension design is just beefier rear shocks? Or is it new leafs and shocks?

Sorry for the direct question as I am trying to see how it is different than other option out there for owners.

Its leafs and shocks resulting in increased travel.

So long story short, the shocks, bumpstops, and leafs all work together in unison to provide added travel. The upper shock mount is on the side instead of the top like most, enabling part of the shock body to sit higher and in the end allow more shock to be stuffed into the stock location. The bumpstops are adjusted up to allow more uptravel. And the leafs allow more travel. I've ridden in a truck equipped with a test set and they feel great.

Thanks for the info guys. Just wanted to make sure what was involved in this kit as I was looking at additional parts such as Dever +2s which would not make sense to get if this is a "new rear" kit setup.

So far it is either this setup or the cantilever option but not sure which way to go yet. Price also plays in so I will wait and see when it officially comes out.

I think cantilever is a really neat concept but I prefer this setup for a number of reasons. Most of all I think there needs to be a stopping point on these trucks in regard to mods, at a certain point it no longer makes sense to me to mod a raptor instead of building another cheaper vehicle for less. Long travel is cool and all but you pretty much need to back half the truck for the rear to keep up, at that point it no longer fills the role of the truck that I need nor does it make sense to me financially. The towing thing already mentioned is two. And three is the desire to be able to revert to stock for sale if ever desired. This rear setup is an absolute screamer of a performer and it's a nice compromise to me. All of this is just my opinion and I love the trucks that take it all the way and push the envelope, it just isn't for me, I want the most possible performance while retaining the most factory capabilities and resale value.

Those are very good points and ones I have been tossing around. I am not looking for a trophy truck and I want the best middle ground I can. Until the final specs and costs come out it still it is a toss up between the two. No rush as Xmas is still a few months away =)

#RLTW already wants to punch babies as he is waiting for the current KIT and you are talking about the next kit already? :)

Note how Icon is running a turn down as a reg exhaust would prob interfere with their bump-stop system. :)
