Typical shocks are designed to last a couple years at most and when they wear out, they are thrown away. King Shocks are different, they are built to last the lifetime of your vehicle. Every shock King makes is built from the same quality billet alloy materials, to the same strict tolerances and using the same precision equipment as their custom racing shocks. King Shocks began building custom shocks for professional racers over a decade ago. In the most demanding race conditions on the planet, every concept, every new design, every part was proven to perform flawlessly or cast aside.

Their race-inspired design allows them to be taken apart with simple hand tools to custom tune the valving or to replace the parts that wear out over time. King Shocks offers complete factory rebuilding services or if you chose to do it yourself, seal kits with all necessary parts are available. King also has replacement parts like bearings, shafts and rod ends if needed.

I can attest to this as we have a king setup on our long travel buggy, they are nothing but top quality and have rebuilt them ourselves last spring, and we got nothing but the best service from king. Thanks to all at king for your great customer service!

Heh..I was going to ask something like this:

Now my question is this: What determines the "lifetime of your vehicle"? Are you talking your normal person....

Then realized I am getting your race shocks. I'll beat them to death and I am far from normal. So, I'll quit being a ******* now and wait patiently for my parts to arrive so that my truck can be finished so that I may go out and flog it to death. No..I do not have anything constructive to say whatsoever in this post.

Ninja Edit: This is my 1666th post

They aren't THAT bad. I spent more on the Koni's for my race car.

True that, I had some koni's on my crx when I was into autox, great setup, but whew, what a price!!

So yea when you compare what you get with a good king setup compared to other (offroad) suspension brands its really not that much more for the quality you truly get.

Edited because it is in poor taste of a vendors thread.
