I think I just realized that my truck came (to me) with aftermarket wheel spacers. I saw them originally, but friends' TRD trucks come with them from the factory so I didn't think twice.

I am getting my shocks rebuilt right now, and replacing all ball joints etc, wondering if I should remove these. They are 1.5" and say HEX on them as a brand name. I have them front and rear.

I run the truck in mid perch with 35" Maxxis Big Horn tires. I run it offload every couple weeks with some fast trips in the dunes and dirt in there for sure.

Is there a prevailing opinion of these out there?

after some reading I think I'll take them off for my Thanksgiving Moab adventure.

They are hub centric, machined to center on the hub, but I found them for $75/set so under $20 each, that doesn't sound like a lot of $$ for a load-bearing piece of equipment that may be part of a "landing" event.

I have also been chasing a wobble, I had a bent rear axle shaft, and have had the wheels balanced a couple times, but it is still there. Had almost 100k on my shocks, so those are getting rebuilt now.

So rebuilt shocks, new lower front shock bushings, new upper control arms, moog lower ball joints, balanced tires, new rear pass axle, removed spacers, new lug nuts, an alignment, and re-torqued everything else, I sure hope it runs without the woomwoomwoomwoomwoom at 55.

Also did 4 corners pads and rotors from Motorcraft, I was impressed that the rotors were balanced.
