What's everyone doing to strengthen their frames?

Other than tearing things off and plating more metal around the frame the bump stop is about the only thing to help prevent the rear frame from getting slammed. The front can bend too. I for one stopped jumping as to me, I've done it, its cool but too many variables of something to go wrong so I stopped. I hit a jump for 3 days in a row and one time hit it wrong and it only takes once. So I've already replaced the frame once and don't plan on doing that again and my back will thank me.

What about the 2.5x4.0 fox bumps? Besides having to have an extra set, any downsides? Seems like the extra strole length would be very helpful.

Hmmm, a 6,000 pound airborne machine with no wings.
Naaaaa, not for me.
(I bet it don't float so good, either.)

You'd be surprised how gentle it was. I took a lot of test approaches at various speeds to feel it out. The landing was firm at the bottom, but there was no bottoming out. I figured I'd leave good enough alone and that jump was the last.
