Any body know any thing about Sway A Way shocks & struts for the Raptor? I see they are cheaper than Fox or Kings or Icon.

They used to build really high quality shocks. I only know about them being used on extreme long travel lifted trucks. They are now owned by AFE I believe but i think they are still made the same as they were... not sure. % years ago I definitely would have bought them but I'm not sure if they are still the same quality.

They are the cheaper alternative to fox or king.
They are not cheaper because they're built better...
The ranger guys use them often enough.

Stay Away is right. I know one of the shock builders there and he said that a guy who used to do marketing at king is developing all the builds and alot of the builds have been wrong and in the last few months that both the lead suspension engineer and the guy who ran the production both got frustrated and left. They have to take apart more shocks because they are wrong than they ship.

It seems that nobody as experienced the 3.0 sway-a-way shocks. In my opinion they are made of steel like the fox factory shocks so they can resist grounded rocks. I have been wainting since 2011 for solid shocks because I do very rough offroad in North of Quebec above the 50th paralell. Is there someone here who can share is point of view? I''ll appreciate, thanks

Does the raptor need different shocks for off roading? I was under the impression the truck I ordered was built for going off roading. This is a huge bummer if I need to spend more money to be off road capable
