GEN 1 Rotten National Springs 2 years old

Is National Spring Kidding me, after 2 years on truck they are f#@king rotten (WTF) WHERE DO THEY GET THERE STEEL? ONE PISSED OFF CUSTOMER.

Pretty much normal unless you live in the desert! I spray my deavers with fluid film every year!

where do you live? I have Deavers and had them sprayed with amzoil hp as soon as i got them on the truck with the rest of the stuff. Have some discoloration now but they still look great. I would sand them down with a steel brush and spray with any of the available products of your choice. Or call National and bitch the shit out them, may be they would replace them... Oh BTW the steel is probably from China.

My stock 4 year old 115k springs in Michigan still look perfect, no rust on them. They must use high carbon steel or not have a good coating to rust that quickly.

If you're going to spray something, make it dry stuff or paint.

Wet, like oil or chain lube will grab and hold dirt/sand = abrasive working on your stuff....

What's more amazing is they lasted 2 years without complete sacking put and national not standing behind their work
