Yours most likely need to be rebuilt. You bought your truck with miles as far I remember. Most likely they are blown. Factory shocks recommended interval 50-60k miles.

oh hahah no im gathering tools to do it myself. aint gunna pay someone to do something i can do, that ***** counter productive.

This is completely normal. The tappits are metal. Every time the shock cycles they open and close. Hence the clicking noise

Thanks for the reply and overall very happy with the change from stock to 3.0s. Getting them dialed for both on and off-road has been straight forward.
