I started looking at more shackle options for lowering the rear 1". Seems there are alot of options, Synergy and Total Chaos both seem to be really nice options.

Wondering if there is any reason why any F150 lowering shackle wouldnt work. Belltech, Top Gun Customz, Ground Force, or any of the other dozens of makes on ebay.

They got from 185 bucks a set down to like 45 a set.....thoughts?

Make sure it's quality material. I've always heard to go with billet and avoid cast blocks.

Factory blocks are generally cast so I dont see a problem with that.

Besides that, im not looking for blocks. I was looking at shackles.

I'm not an engineer by any means but adfing a longer shackle seems worse than a shorter block. Changes the angle of the rear spring and reduces up travel to the factory bump stop. The block I used keep the strike pad in the same place as stock.
