I had the same issue and it ended up being my drivers side front leaf mount. The hole was hollowed out and the bolt was moving around in there. I welded two grade 10 washers in there and has been fine ever sense.

I had the same issue. I went with the more expensive option and got Deavers.
No more annoying noise! Also a ride quality improvement overall.

No popping noise here, but I do have an annoying squeaking going on. I'll grease up the bushings later this weekend when I get back from work.
