Well yeah you'd need a nice fat 2"ish washer that pushed up against the end of the shock body, and some spacers from the inner race to the washer. However this will fuck up the outside of the shock body as the shock will be moving on the bearing and the washer won't.

I just feel people should be informed that this mod is not a great idea or a particularly safe idea.

I have about 2000 miles on mine with over 800 in the desert. They haven't moved or developed any slop yet. I've even hit a ditch hard enough to blow my airbag. I'll update once I see any wear or movement.

Your airbag blew with ORM turned on?

There have been a few airbags that have blown in ORM. The rumor that ORM turns off or desensitizes SRS is just that, a rumor. Enough have blown in ORM that we can be sure it's not turned off.

The drivers bag blew and the passenger seatbelt blew. Sync also called 911 on me. It was in ORM.

So the $500 exchange looks great, then comes the options list... I see the need for most of the options, just like you did. What was the ballpark bill on a set like yours? Had to be a grand or more.

passenger seat belt blew? sorry for probably asking a dumb question but what does that mean?
hope the air bag didn't smash your face? I never had a bag blow but people "say" it like hitting a brick wall with your face?

Todays seatbelts have pyrotechnic tensioners to keep you from face planting in the airbag. After I hit the deer and the airbag deployed, the seatbelt tensioner had blown and the belt no longer retracted. All replaceable of course.

I now try really hard not to perch my hand on the top of the wheel, which os tough in the Raptor because there is now way to rest you left elbow and still reach the wheel... Had my arm been in that position I would have ate it for sure. The airbags are pretty powerful.

Oh yes I now understand what your saying about the belt. Iíve had the not move before if slamming on brakes and just the other day my buddy has new CTSV the belt actually tightened up and pulled me in seat after he launched. Crazy technology these cars/trucks have.
Glad everyone is ok and the hand on wheel makes me think about braking wrist or something if if wrong spot.
