All it takes is one theft and the demand is started while the thieves keep stealing to cause and satisfy greater demand.

Just think if Tank's Raptor had a solenoid in the tailgate that locked it every time he locked his truck's doors. :thumbsup:

Well if you have it locked and a cover like a Bakflip, makes it harder at least!

^^ Keyword being HARDER bro. My fiberglass top is def. better than a BF but it can certainly be broken into even if locked and the t-gate stolen. If they have to work harder you never know it might deter them.

A simple hose clamp will also deter them... a little extra insurance if you forgot to lock it. Plus, it will keep the tailgate from popping off the hinge if you drive with it down.

Yup hoseclamps are the ticket. And/or a lock from the top like SLB said. Anything that makes it a bit harder, or more importantly anything that forces a tool to be used is probably gonna chase them off down the way to the next truck.
