Can't knock forced induction these days. My SRT4 has a stock internals 2.4L that's pushing over 400whp and approx. 440tq, oh, and 130k very hard driven (track days, drag strip, etc) miles.

Head gasket is really the main thing to worry about...

Im a turbo guy, and I still think 2.7 is too small for a F150. I'd like it in a Ranger,but not a full sized truck. Maybe if it were diesel...

I do have to agree there, not even a fan of V6 mustangs, just doesn't seem right!

That's press speculation though...they're saying its comparable to other manufacturers' "midlevel" V8s. That would be about 310hp. But midlevel V8s are dying. Only Toyota really still has such an option, given that the GM 6.2L is a extremely rare item with the 5.3L being considered the premium engine.
