Now I'm confused

I didn't see this thread until after I bought the Vision X bracket. I too don't like the version I was sent as I saw the one with the silver lower portion and assumed that what I would be getting. So you're saying the bracket with the silver is offered but not through Vision X? Can anyone send me the link for the bracket shown in the photos? Would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Just call James at Alternative Offroad, he'll hook you up. the bracket is around $110 if I remember right.

i just got my kit , there is a blk bracket. Is this not the preferred one?

People like the silver bracket, but the black one works great too. It's honestly all personal preference! We can no longer get the silver bracket alone though

Is it possible to mount the light out a bit further to bring the light past the holes in the tabs to cover them? A shim or something?

Got my light in , its a combo setup. Im almost thinking the diffused floods are too bright in close. They give the impression the light is pointed too low , which it isn't. The glare on the road about 50 feet out is very bright. If i were to do it over i would try all spots.
