Hello Guys !

Quick story : I had a good deal on some VisionX light cannons that I couldn't refuse, and now I'm wondering where I could mount those fancy lights...

I'm not a big fan of the hood mounts, altough I know this is surely the best spot for the cannons...

I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit some lights in the valance below the headlights (see pic attached). There's enough room to fit a cannon I think, but I don't really know what it is behind the valance, and the difficulty of doing that ??

I wouldn't. There really isn't anything behind the valence except thin plastic. Even my "duallys" are only held in by the valence itself. You would be better off mounting them on hood mounts or in the factory fog holes. :gasp:

I wouldn't be afraid to mount a KC Flex pod in that location. They are fairly light, and I just happen to know someone who sells those.......:)

I have already a pair of sidetracked pod lights in the bumper, but thanks @2014RubyRed !

So you guys just bolted/screwed your lights in the plastic ? I was thinking of fabbing a mount but I need to know if there's some piece of metal behind the valance I can use as a mount point

The cannons are a must, considering how far they throw a ginormous amount of lumens, been a long tim i'm watching for it...

But then I'm done with lighting, and suspensions, and...Oh well that' what I told the wife... :lol2:

I made a bracket and mounted four Rigid D2 pods to the lower vent opening. I'm sure you could do something very similar with the light cannons.
