Hey fellas. What's the benefit of having the lights on the back as opposed to the roof mount that I have up by the windshield

Looks good Huck. Ive been thinking of doing the same thing with a flip down, actuated setup.

Mcmaster screwed me so I can't finish till I get back from Germany. Needed two pieces of hardware. It will have dual actuators and 5 6.7" hids on top with some misc whelen rear facing lights.

Best part is it's designed to let the rollx roll up all the way without interference.

My only short sight is I should of had them drill holes through all the connections to run wires

Huck are you saying yours is designed to let the roll x up all the way or in general that's how it's designed?

I can't speak for theirs haven't seen it. But mine allows the rollx to completely roll up without interference

Ok. I thought it was mentioned the roll x would be fine in their release thread but your post made it sound like you had it done because it normally wouldn't allow it to roll up. I have one on order and that'd be a deal breaker. Maybe. Lol

I only looked at their pics since they already had my prints and models. Theirs should be no problem with the 2nd bar in the back. It's more parallel with the bed rails

I do believe the standard light tower setup does not interfere with the roll-x.
