Snow lights

living in michigan im in it every year and have always run ambers...i am very curious to see the blue performance. I ordered some blue lenses for my lights and am anxious for some snow to check them out. -- not really anxious for snow but you know what I mean.

I have run both Blue and Amber covers on my Light Cannons.

I prefer the Amber.

I have a set of Blue Flood beam covers for light cannons I can bring to Havoc if anyone wants them. $10 for set.

If I would have known you were interested in the them, I would have given them to Luke when he went over to Germany.

I would imagine shipping would be cost prohibitive. But I will be going to Havoc, Rise of Phoenix and Snoball, so I can bring to any event.

They worked decent, but I think they are equal in snow to the ambers and with ambers, I can run them in dirt and dust too, unlike Blues.

If I forget to shut down my ambers on the road, I get a warning from the popo. If I forget to shut down blues on the road...potential Arrest.

I think you guys are being a bit paranoid. Here's a pic of the blue rigid covers and from what I've been told numerous times it's not a 'blue' light coming out it mores gray. Emergency lights are very very blue and i think you'd have to get a cop having a really bad day to even hassle you about them.

Either way, we did some extensive non-scientific blue versus amber versus clear during last years Snoball pre-run. Yes, white light is horrible in snow, but IMO, the blues did not beat ambers to the extent that it's worth having them specific for snow when ambers can be used in multi-situational applications, including snow. I also run ambers on my Rigids too BTW.

The fourth truck from the right, has Rigid d2's on hood mounts and a 40" bar all with blue covers. It looks like someone is walking in front of it.

Blue is really good in white out conditions... But not needed over amber
