I found some great LED's that you can buy in a string of how many you want. They are water proof, completely sealed and can be used underwater in water falls etc. There is 6 LED's per piece ($2.75 ea. $25.00 total) and you can have up to 50 per string with many colors to choose. I bought 4 piece's (amber) for each side and wired them into the marker LED's. I'll take some night time shots tonight and post them later. Ordered last Sunday from Creativelightings.com and had them Friday. Love the way they make it look like the engine is glowing. I had to come up with something better then Recons side SVT logo for 180 bucks and white lettering that lit up.

Wow... I've been looking for some bed lighting solutions, and those would probably work REALLY well under the lip on the bed, all around it, providing some area lighting.

Think they'd be bright enough, in white, for that?

Yes they are bright plus you can have a string the whole length of the bed!

I'm definitely in for night shots! Great idea on this!

Can you get pictures of where they are mounted, like with the vents popped off?

I was looking at bed lights as well, just like the OPs but in white. FYI a strand of 20 boards equals 9ft in length. My 25w cargo light lights up my entire bed pretty good so doubt I'll do the bed lights... But who knows.

Working so haven't had time to do the night shots but I will pop a side vent this weekend and show the mounting and do some night shot and hopefully post by Saturday.
