Jason said he's "never liked how the orange stock bulb looks when off in the daylight. It just looks off somehow."

Our Raptors come with 3157NA bulbs. They're dual filament with plastic base bulbs.

Here's the product:

Chrome Bulbs - Stealth Bulbs, Mirror Bulbs look silver but flash amber when lit.

From their website:

WHY DOES MY CAR NEED CHROME BULBS?

Because factory amber colored bulbs give your clear corner lenses and ugly "Egg-Yolk" Look!

Stealth Bulbs are revolutionary chrome turn signal bulbs that are SILVER when off and AMBER when lit. These mirror bulbs eliminate the "egg-yolk" effect from the front, side or rear turn signal lenses of your car, truck, SUV or motorcycle. Stealth Bulbs create a totally flawless and unique look that will be sure to get your car noticed! In short, Stealth Bulbs make your ride look great!

At Stealth Auto, we take quality seriously. We back every bulb we sell with an unparalleled lifetime guarantee. We use only long life bulbs and proprietary metallic coatings applied by a NASA contractor to provide years and years of world class performance.

- Virtually invisible when off.
- Bright AMBER when illuminated.
- 100% street legal and DOT approved.
- Guaranteed for life.
- Made with pride in the USA.
- Created by a NASA coating specialist.

Disclaimer: I have not purchased or used these bulbs (yet).

Here's a link to their thread where you can buy these bulbs:

They are $29.95 for a set which is, I'm sure, quite a bit more than the bulbs Jason used - here's a link to his thread:

I liked those too, in theory. However, be advised... picture the current orange reflection in your headlight, with the stock bulb and replace it with a blue color/reflection. These will reflect a blue light around in there, rather than an orange (when off, obviously).

And when on, I've found that they are pretty dim compared. Something else to consider.

I believe BIRDMAN went with these, and they match his Silverstar headlights well (both reflect blue when not on, so he's got blue in the headlights and turn signals now on his black Raptor). So hopefully he'll post up some thoughts.

I'm not a fan of Silverstar headlights (much less actual light output, even though the perceived output is greater), so I was reluctant to go with 'blue' down there too.

I'm not seeing any blue in the pictures. Have you seen their chrome bulbs or are you basing it on what you've seen with the Silverstars? I have the Silverstars and I don't see any blue...

I haven't seen these exact bulbs in this truck yet, but I have seen them on other cars. Maybe things are different somehow with the Raptor?

I'll pm BIRDMAN and ask him to take a closeup. He indicated he did see blue with his, although you're right in that I cant see it in the pic either.

I'm gonna man up right now and admit that I am AN IDIOT. my turn signals do not reflect blue....................it's my polarized Oakleys.(anyone who has ever owned good polarized lenses knows what I mean) I just looked at my picture, you're right they don't look blue my mind was playing tricks on me. I go outside, they're blue! Take off the shades...they're clear! Jesus Christ.

Edit: my headlights do have a slight tinge on blue i just looked in my garage, no shades. turn signals, clear. this is ok tho.

yes but they do not look like the OP. they are like rainbow looking, not quite clear but definitely not silver/chrome looking like those...
