Rear backup lights causing trailer fault

Has anyone experienced this before. I had put some rear facing Rigid sm-r lights in the bumper and wired them to the reverse line in the trailer hitch about 3 weeks ago. Today while driving this keeps popping up. Has anyone who has done this experienced this?

I have the exact same setup but have never had that happen to me, been running them since the begining of the year.

i have same set up as well & I never have encountered that message. Double check your set up and ensure you have no bare wire touching anything. Good Luck...
