Purple!?!

DDM sent me Purple Bulbs! I ordered 4500k and these are what I got!

Yeah, definitely bluish/purple. I'd say that's around 8000K. Give them a call Monday and keep us updated. I'd like to know how their customer service is. I've really been considering doing this mod since I'm taking the truck to school with me.

Yeah the glare really isn't bad in the reflector housing. I was impressed.

Ha, that's funny... it happens, I've received the wrong bulb in a kit before, it was 3000K (yellow) when I ordered 6000K!

I'd guess those are closer to 10,000K honestly... very purple, indeed! I've personally had 14,000K before for a show car, and the light output was just god awful!

Did they ever fix this for you?

I got my 2 sets of 55W 5000K's on order w/ them

those were def 10,000k. i hope they made good on it for u
