Back in 1994 at the Baja 1000, the Ford guys walked up to us and handed us a box. They said, "put these on your truck now!" We took off the PIAA halogen lights we had and put these things on. :jawdrop:

These are the first generation of H.I.D. lights. Ford got with PIAA (sponsor of the Rough Rider Team) and Sylvania (producers of Fords lighting sources) and had them adapt H.I.D. light sources in the PIAA housings. You can tell by the hardware, how old these are.

Wired them into upfitter switch #1 all together. No issues with amp usage. The aiming is off a bit too.

I remember those days, and those lights. The Ford Rough Rider Team was bad ass.
