Good question. I didn't install it yet, I just placed it on top of the headrest to compare the light output of the two. Based on the significant light increase, I guess it is reasonable that the reflection could be a distraction. I will do a full install and report back.

The good news, I do not think the reflection from this light bar is any more than my bar.

The bad news (for some), you will need to trim the plastic housing around the third seat belt cover as it blocks the light bar from sitting flush. You certainly do not need to cut the part and could let it rest on the lid, but I think the bar will be too high and the headrest will interfere with your view too much.

Love the brightness! Sucks that you had to trim the seatbelt retractor. Not interested in having to destroy parts of the truck to make mods fit.

Awesome comparison. Having seen the cyclones in dusty action I am glad I went another route but this looks like a great solution.

Sure thing, I will snap a pic tonight and no, I have been driving with it on since install and no cops or flashers on my rear, so I assume it's OK.

Keep in mind, I'm using a POS iPad camera which is creating that solar flare effect. The light to the human eye is much clearer. The two photos are only good for output comparisons between the two. I still believe it's fine for on-road use. Mine is on when ever the truck is running.
