I'm interested for sure, but durability on the mounts is a concern for me.
If they just use sheet metal screws like all the other bar mounts, that's a show stopper.

@ntm, here's another picture of the mounting point for you:

In addition to the side mounts, the light bar itself will have an additional brace that supports the light in the center against the windshield acting as a third point of contact. Also, the light itself isn't all that heavy. The shipping weight of the bar itself with wiring and packing material is only 23 lbs.

WTF? Center Mount??? Ya... We're gonna have to see some pics of the ACTUAL light to body mounts.

It won't be a mount in the sense of being drilled into the center of the roof. It'll be a brace for additional support.

I'm going to try to get more pictures of the mounts from KC.

Alright guys, got some more information on the mounting for you today.

The Pro6 will be using mounting brackets from SoCal SuperTrucks. The mounts will install in the drip rail of the roof using nutserts. See pictures below for more detail:

The brackets will install in the roof and not the door sill due to the added strength in the roof and the type of metal used. The SoCal SuperTrucks mounts will ship in the box with the KC HiLiTES Pro6 Raptor Kit.

Additionally, there will be a bracket that connects to the back of the Pro6 bar and will have a soft polyurethane bottom that touches the top of the windshield in the middle. This bracket will effectively be a bump stop in the center of the Pro6 bar. In addition to be being a secondary point of contact for support, it will also make sure that the light stays level as you bounce around off-road. This middle bracket will not require any additional holes or mounting points in the middle. The bracket is connected to the Pro6 bar and only lightly touches the windshield.

The Pro6 bar weighs 17 pounds.

Instructions will be included in the kit for both bracket installation and light installation and wiring. The wiring will run down the channel of the windshield and A-pillar on the passenger's side. It will be one single black casing on the passenger's side only that will contain both the positive and ground wires for connections under the hood.

Lastly, our pricing has been finalized. The Raptor kit with the Pro6, brackets, and wiring will only be $1699.95.

If y'all have any more questions, please let us know! I'll be updating the first post with this additional information!

Wish I didn't have money tied up
In suspension. I thin those are the best bolt on mounts available. It's on the list though?? As soon as you can get a true measurement of the height above the roof line that would be great!!

Still waiting to hear back on that measurement! I haven't forgotten, but the prototype is not currently mounted to a Raptor so they don't have the exact measurement.

If you need anything else, please let us know!
