I'm glad you're pleased with them. In addition to the range, I think it's also important to mention that the brighter light will reflect off of anything in close range behind you they'll appear brighter and more defined on screen than they would have with the stock incandescent bulbs.

The wording on our product page may be a bit strong, but I wanted everyone to know what all was involved. It's not a simple bulb change like the others, but if you're handy with a Dremel, it's definitely doable.

At this point, we still only have the amber option for the map lights and not red. But we may have something in the works in the next couple of months. Thank you for your interest!
